Introduction

Our speaker this afternoon is Tom Streeter.

Tom began his patent law career as a Texan. He is a graduate of The University of Texas School of Law in Austin, with an undergraduate degree in Physics from UT - Dallas.

Since moving to California, Tom has practiced patent law in organizations both large and small, and both in-house and outside.

Currently, Tom wears two hats.

• Half of the time he is a solo patent practitioner in San Clemente, California.

• The other half of the time he is General Counsel of Target Technology Company in Irvine. Target is a small high-tech company, and sells "semi-reflective layer sputtering targets" to the DVD industry. Tom assures me that he'll tell you more about "semi-reflective layer sputtering targets" -- but only after his presentation, and only if you ask.
